A LITTLE ABOUT LUDO

Reality is a source of the most unexpected stories, beauties, oddities and contradictions. I have a particular affinity to stories revealing ways in which people explore their place in the world, how they inhabit space and sculpt their sense of time. One trail is the exploration of personal and collective memory, through the use archive material and other media that can allow the most secret elements to appear through the layers. I am interested in poetic cinema with a political angle, able to shape images with a subversive meaning and sound that can talk to the unconscious. I am also interested in collective storytelling and its revolutionary power to bring changes about in society.

I graduated at the National Film and Television School and together with 7 other filmmakers I founded the Kitchen Sink Collective in London. I work as a filmmaker between Italy, France and the UK and I am a Lecturer in Experimental cinema and new media in London and Paris.
